Simone is dedicated to helping individuals achieve insight, growth, and healing through fostering an open, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. Simone’s approach can be described as integrative, collaborative, and authentic. She prioritizes creating a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and works alongside the client in their journey of wellness and healing.
Simone has spoken at national and international conferences on empowering wellness & joy during times of adversity and topics related to racial trauma. She is an experienced clinician, working with adolescents and adults. Simone has provided services in a variety of settings. Some of these services include:

Simone is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and is a PhD candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Adler University. She is dedicated to expanding her work in the counseling field which includes research in multiple areas as it relates to long term impact of trauma, interventions to address trauma in early to late stage that assist in regulating the nervous system.
Simone is passionately committed to empowering clients with support and skills to live life fully, see their resilience and to become proficient in self advocacy. She has a specialty in believing that her clients can, even when they think they can’t until they believe they can.
