We've looked at what intensives are and how they differ from traditional therapy. Understandably, it may have left you with further questions about intensives, like, "What can they be used for?"

Before discussing intensives for specific issues, let's address two of the more common concerns.

For example, just how “intense” is an “intensive”? You will be kept engaged but offers enough space for you to process and practice. This brings us to another frequently raised point: “I have a job.” Yes, intensive therapy may require some serious juggling for three to five days. But can you think of a more productive way to use that time?

3 Issues Intensives Can Help With

1. S.T.E.P. Couple Intensive Program

“Step” is short for:

  • Create SAFETY by understanding your relationship cycle and the contributing factors.

  • Grow TRUST by peeling back patterns and gently discovering and sharing what lies beneath each of your behaviors.

  • Gain EMOTIONAL INTEGRITY by recognizing, owning, and shifting how each of you contributes to the relationship in ways that are no longer useful.

  • Open you to PHYSICAL INTEGRITY and INTIMACY by a conscious commitment toward recovering what has been lost in the physical, sexual, and spiritual relationship.

Wherever you are in your relationship, you can benefit immensely from an intensive steeped in:

2. Living Trauma Intensive Program

3. Coaching Programs for Substance Abuse

Everyone has a unique recovery journey. You can dramatically expedite this process in a variety of ways when you pledge yourself to an intensive program. This is an integrative effort. What that means is:

  • We address all kinds of addictions, whether it be drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, and so on.

  • The staff consults with a wide range of practitioners and specialists as needed. This may include anyone from psychiatrists to acupuncturists and beyond.
